Once upon I time I was cooking Gumbo for my non Louisiana husband. I yelled into the next room..."hey , do you like Okra?" His reply..." No I can't stand that woman or her show."
Anyway, here is a photo of my favorite billboard. It is an advertisement for Zatarain's Cornmeal fish-fri which also makes an excellent breading for fried okra...Not OPRAH . It always makes me smile.
