Night Night!

 

 

How many times do you think you can read Goodnight Moon? I had to place a limit at 2 times a night as otherwise it would be 10pm and the little one would still be up. So after bath time we chase her to get to brush her teeth and put on Pj's. Some nights she will put them on herself ( sometime in the middle of the night or early morning she will get up and change her clothes, so she is not often wearing what she goes to sleep in,LOL! We cuddle on the sofa and then, depending on her mood, we will tuck her in nicely in her bed, or I have to put her in and let her cry it out( with plenty of night lights)She will easily blow kisses, maybe give me a hug, and sometimes let me give her a kiss on the cheek. Only twice have I gotten a kiss good night, so I guess the more comfortable she gets with us, the easily hugs and kisses come.

We got good news today! She gained 3 pounds since she was brought to live with us. She also grew an inch taller. She had never been to this Health unit, but she knew that they were going to stick her finger for a blood sample, the kid never forgets anything! The results of her blood test showed she was no longer anemic! She is still way below the charts in height and weight for her age, but I think she will also be a petite person, no matter what, but we are making healthy progress!
