We have had a very dry late spring. Benny set up a tripod irrigation system for the vegetable garden, with 3 foot extentions so that the water would reach the corn when it got tall. Loryn has been carefully checking on her new blackberry plants and blueberry bushes. I planted a lot of deck containers full of colorful flowers. We have been enjoying our deck, having dinner cooked outdoors by Benny .
This weekend we had several rainstorms so the garden grew very quickly, The tomatoes are still green, but we'll have them in our fresh grown salad greens and spinach soon. The cucumbers will need to be made in to pickles this summer, and we'll have green beans and corn galore! This year was the first Daddy planted watermelon and canaloupe. I hope they grow well!

Your garden looks great! And I loved going back and reading your Denmark posts/pictures. My great grandparents came over from Denmark in the early 1900's, and my Gram spoke Danish and English.
I'd love to go there some day!
