Every year at Loryn's School the library sponsors a Storybook Character Dress-Up Day during Children's Book Week. The grade K-5 kids pick a favorite book character to dress like and then they parade in the gym. Everyone is a winner in this contest, winning a crisp new dollar bill and a bag of Candy and Treats!
Loryn chose to dress-up as Samantha, the American Girl. She wore her Samantha night gown and carried her A Surprise for Samantha book and her Samantha American Girl Doll.
