Coushatta Carnival

Aunt Missy was kind enough to invite us to use their second family pass to the Carnival at the Casino Pavilion. The tribe sponsored it as a treat for the tribal members and Casino employees. Each family gets up to 5 wristbands and $7 each in food tickets. The weather was wonderful, the crowds were thin and there was a nice mix of rides for all ages. We let Loryn go off on her own for a few hours to ride things like the Zipper, Pharaohs Fury, Tilt-a-whirl, Spaceship 4000, and Moby Dick. The little girls tried the Little roller coaster (Cobra) The mirrored fun house, Fun Slide, Ferris Wheel and lots of little Kiddie rides. Misty was not tall enough for many of the rides, at just under 36 inches( Loryn was over 36 inches by her 2nd birthday) Shyla was big enough for the Bumper cars, if she rode with her mom. We took time out for a few carnival favorites, popcorn, caramel apples, Funnel cakes and cotton candy. Let's just say at after a day full of fun these little ones will sleep well tonight!

Coushatta is where my MoMo Fontenot went twice a week...in fact, there is a blanket upstairs that I took from her apartment after she died that she got from the casino...

Such a small world...
