Loryn loves to look at Danish Radio's ( the Danish TV station) Daily Advent calendar online each day. It features Bamse, Kylling, and Ælling ( Teddy, Chick and Duckling), popular Danish children's tv program characters. This is where our dog Bamse gets his name.
The advent calendar has the three friends involved in a game or print out activity and is only in Danish. I figure it makes a good interesting Danish lesson for both of us.
Each year she gets so tickled by today's game! I get tickled because I KNOW that this would never go over well in the USA, and outraged parents would scream that it is in poor taste, so it would never happen in uptight America! Check it out yourself! Click on Package #11! And feel free to try it out every day...A nice Danish lesson.
