Missy asked me if Shyla could stay the night. Well yes, of course. She has stayed at Grandma's house but not Aunt Lynette's yet , so this was a first for us!
After dinner ( she actually ate pretty well ) , and bath we let the girls have a little jello and then after teeth brushing it was story time. I asked what story she wanted to hear and instead she said she wanted Uncle Scott. So I gave him a call on my cell and let the girls tell him good night. He was standing in line in San Fransisco to buy a slice of Pizza. I promised him I'd put up a picture of Shyla with her new glasses.
Benny and Loryn both wear glasses and I thought that we could encourage her to wear them. She just got them yesterday to help train her eyes to keep straight after the surgery was not quite enough do do it. She did wear them all evening until bathtime and I hope I can get them on her tomorrow, too. She might just not give her mom so much trouble if Loryn can encourage her to wear them.
Loryn read a story and lights were out by 9:30, the earliest I've been able to get Loryn to bed this week.
Oh and Shyla used the potty and stayed dry all evening.! If she can learn to stay dry she can start school at the Little Indian School, a headstart program for the Coushatta tribe. They start school in a few weeks so Missy has well hoped she'd be potty trained in time.
Well , Good night from both of them!
