The Celtic Nations Heritage Festival was held in Lake Charles this weekend so Loryn and I got tickets for 2 days. Benny went with us on Saturday before he went to work and we had a lunch of fish and chips and Loryn spent most of the afternoon in the Children's area. She made crafts and visited the instrament petting zoo! She danced with Danny O'Flaherty and took Irish Dancing lessons. She loved the puppetry and storytelling shows. Sunday Grandma and Grandpa joined us and they listened to many different bands. Grandma and I LOVE bagpipes and we were able to look at all of the booths and found out that Welsh family clans now have their own tartan, so we can wear the Hughes/Pugh of Wales tartan!
