Tea Party a la Hurricane Humberto

Some people get snow days....we get hurricane days...
Wow! Woke up late this morning, it was pitch black out side and raining( which it has been doing since yesterday) but we had power. After hustling Loryn up and getting her ready for school I drove Loryn next door in the rain to find an empty school.... huh? I go home only to find out that Humberto is now a hurricane! School is closed for our parish. I sure wish I had known that earlier. LOL Maybe work is canceled now, too? A brief check shows a Yes for me, no for Benny.

We don't get the Lake Charles station on our Direct TV local channels so I had no idea! It was only Cat 1 and we sleep through it! LOL
The rain lasted until noon and Benny went to work for 2pm. So Loryn and I had the day to ourselves. After we played with the rabbits and cleaned their cage (they are still living in the living room.) We wanted to do something different.( besides the internet was down so we couldn't play with our webkinz... but that is a whole other post.

Anyway I had recently subscribed to a free online
magazine that suggested that to celebrate the
upcoming fall season, one should have a tea party.
The magazine has recipies, puzzles and craft ideas.
It reminds me of my 1990's Victoria magazines.
So Loryn and I had a tea party and took turns
posing for the camera!
