Loryn was happy to attend her first LSU football game and since I'm only a parttime LSU student I don't get discount tickets so the 4-H day was the best option. We had never heard of Middle Tenn. before and they had a huge area free for all of the Louisiana 4-Hers that attended. We made it a family affair and Uncle Randy, Aunt Missy, Grandma ( LSU alum 1963) , and Grandpa joined Benny and Loryn and I ( Current LSU grad student.)
The seats were great even though they were on the visitors side, but they were too far away from the Golden Band from Tigerland. I Like to Feel the music! However this game had the Band Alumni attending (sitting just below us ) and the old timers ( some as old as in in their 70's ) joined the band on the field.
It was an easy win for LSU and since we had to walk back to the Ag Center, we left at the 3rd quarter and listened to the game on XM radio.
(Added note- We have watched or listened the at least the last quarter of every LSU
game played this season. Even the sad 3 overtime loss to Kentucky. We were happy to see LSU hold the number #1 spot for a few weeks!)
