Bunny Lovin' Loryn

For Months Loryn has talked about getting a bunny or two. She has been doing so great taking care of her chickens and ducks
and I told her if she could draw up plans for a Rabbit hutch for her daddy to build she could get a rabbit. She drew up plans for a hutch complete with a black and white spotted bunny. I wanted to get tiny rabbits so I found a 4-Her ( and her Mom) in the next parish over that raised Neatherland Dwarf, Holland Lop and Polish rabbits. I really liked the loped earred Hollands , but Loryn really liked the black and white Polish. So the lady told us if we bought a breeding pair of 3 month old Holland lops she'd let Loryn take home the B/W Polish doe. Loryn named her Oreo. Oreo is just about Full grown, so she is a really tiny rabbit. We have to bring Oreo back in a few months for a short visit once we are ready to breed her. The lady had the perfect Chocolate solid Polish buck to breed her with.

This is the Jr. tort Doe we named Butterscotch.

The broken tort. buck we named Toffee. The Mom was named Candy. They will not get too much bigger as adults.
Here are the parents Candy and Ice.

They just sat on this little table and were so tame. They are currently living togther in a large Dog kennel in our
Living room. We are trying to litter box train them. They will sometimes do their business in the box,
but not always. They are fun to snuggle up with. Toffee is my favorite, loryn loves Oreo best, and
Benny likes Butterscotch. He has plans to make the hutch soon, I hope!

Here Loryn gets ready to put her new babies in the Pet Taxi for the ride home.
