I'm a little LSU Tiger

I spent a whole week on LSU's Baton Rouge campus in the beginning of the summer in a Graduate class. Most of my classes are taken by video compression, but the workshop classes are concentrated to a brief time period where it is not a huge problem to get to Baton Rouge from 100 miles away. However, I did not get to buy my books for my second class and I had to return to LSU the next week to go to the bookstore. Mom and Loryn and I made a day of it. Seeing as how my Mom, her sister and both of her parent's graduated from LSU...I was destined to attend LSU also...however I somehow changed my mind after my Freshman year...So it is fitting that I am working on my masters degree at LSU, finally 20+ years later.

When we were little, My brothers and I had t shirts that read "I'm a little LSU Tiger" I couldn't find one like that at the bookstore in the LSU Union for Loryn, but I did buy her this cute pair of Tiger ears for her to wear when we go to her First LSU football game in September!!!! GEAUX TIGERS! We did get to see the really nice empty cage where Mike the tiger lived in style. Saddly Mike V died just weeks before I got to take Loryn to the campus. Hopefully they will find a new Mike before the Football season starts!

I am so jealous you're going to the game! We were hoping to get tickets, as that's my oldest son's birthday, but they're so expensive. It will also be special because it's Va Tech. Have fun!!

We happened to see Mike the Tiger 3 days before he passed away. Have you heard that they've found a 2yo replacement, and are working on transporting him?

Geaux Tigers!
