Loryn's First 4-H Achievment Day

Loryn sewed this cute apron as her first clothing project. I drew the pattern on newspaper and
used leftover fabric from a purse I made.

She sat on my lap as she sewed and she operated the sewing machine herself. She pushed every pedal, and button. I just told her the steps to do and when to do them. She will get more practice as we sew more!
Sparked by this we have already purchased her some dress fabric and she will make that one too, for practice.

Her apron won 1st Place! She was so excited! She will get a check for $10 and an invitation to the 4-H banquet in May!

This is her Dairy Poster. It is titled "My Dairy Godmother" Is is very sparklely! The wishes granted are healthy things we get from milk. She won second place on this poster!

The Beef Poster I think is so cute...But I admit I helped her a little to much on this by typing EVERYTHING on the computer, she just pasted it down. The inking and tearing and sanding to distress the poster was done by her, though. Good Job Loryn!
