Making Rugbrød...

BedsteMor had to replentish her supply of the hearty dark rye bread that is a staple of almost every sandwich... most smørrebrød is served on the dark planks. Bedstemor's bread is better than the stuff we can buy ready made at home (not to mention cheaper) so I watched her make a batch so I can make Benny his favorite bread. Now I just have to find whole kernel Rye in USA....
